David Williamson

David is an Oregon native born and raised in Eastern Oregon. David’s life has always been rather non-traditional as the third of seven children and the first member of his family to earn an advanced degree. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Army and became a paralegal. In the years that followed his enlistment, David worked in a wide variety of work environments and industries. He eventually decided to enroll in the local community college and spent the next six years earning two Bachelor’s Degrees (political science and cognitive neuroscience) and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon.

After law school, David served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lauren Holland and then for the Honorable Karsten Rasmussen in the Lane County Circuit Court. Following these clerkships, David worked for Heltzel Williams P.C., a primere business law firm in Salem, Oregon, and then for the Center for Nonprofit Law in Eugene, Oregon, a boutique firm specializing in all aspects of nonprofit and tax-exempt law.

Today, David’s practice focuses on all aspects of business law concerning for-profit and nonprofit entities including but not limited to entity formation, tax exemption and general tax law, employment law, real estate, and transactional law. With a specialization in contract drafting, David is uniquely equipped to assist with any type of contract your organization may need.
